OUR NEW BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING SYSTEM IS HERE!

Important Logon Information
The first time you logon, please go to our website at www.bankofcooperstown.com and click the link to access our new Online Banking system (please note that there will only be one logon button for Personal and Business Online Banking) and follow these steps to access your Business Online Banking account and establish your single sign-on:

  1. Enter your temporary online banking ID, which was sent to you via US Mail.
  2. Enter your temporary password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
  3. You will be prompted to review the Business Online Banking Services Agreement. Once you have read the agreement, select “I Agree” and click the accept button.
  4. You will now be prompted to change your temporary password.
    • Enter your temporary password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
    • Enter a new password that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click continue.
  5. Please note that you must provide this new password, along with the 12-digit Online Banking ID from step one, to all other users.

  6. Enter your Cash Management ID, which is the same as your current User ID on the former Cash Management system
    • Please note you should only enter the first 10 characters of your existing User ID.
    • You should enter your User ID in all caps
  7. Enter your temporary Cash Management password, which was sent to you via US Mail, and click login.
    • Please note that the temporary Cash Management password is case sensitive.
  8. You will now be prompted to change your Cash Management password.
    • Enter your temporary Cash Management password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
      • Please note that this password is case sensitive.
    • Enter a new password that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click login.
  9. For enhanced system security, you will be prompted to establish the following personalized settings:
    • Select an image.
    • Establish three security questions.
  10. You will be automatically prompted to create your single sign-on:
    • Enter a new user name of your choice.
      • User names must begin with a letter and may contain numbers.
      • User names cannot contain special characters or spaces.
    • Enter a new password of your choice that is alphanumeric and 6 to 8 characters in length, repeat and click login.
  11. You are ready to begin banking! All future logons will only require your newly created single sign-on user name and password.

Other Users:
Due to our security measures to protect your privacy, we cannot access your account set-up to review or make changes to any of your settings. Therefore, as the administrator of your business’s Online Banking account, you will need to verify any other users’ settings. You can access the settings by clicking on the Cash Management tab in the new Business Online Banking account and selecting the User option. After you verify the settings, you will need to provide users with the following items:

  1. The online banking ID, which was sent to you via US Mail, and password established in step 4 above.
  2. Their Cash Management ID, which is the same as their current User ID on the former Cash Management system. Please note that they should only enter the first 10 characters of the existing User ID.
  3. The temporary Cash Management password, which was sent to you via US Mail.
  4. The first time that they logon, they will also be automatically prompted to create a single sign-on user name and password by following step 9 listed above.

Please note that the new Business Online Banking system does not have a user administrator feature; therefore, no partial administrator rights are available. If you currently have a user with partial administrator rights and would like them to have access, you will have to set them up with full administrator rights.

Important Reminders

Bill Pay:
All of your payee information, and account and Bill Pay history, will be automatically transferred to the new Business Online Banking system.

ACH:
If you use the ACH , you need to review and validate your ACH batch templates and participants. Should you have any questions about this, please contact a customer service representative at (607) 547-2210.
